Bristow’s Annual Fundraiser on February 7, 2024.
For over 20 years, the Bristow Music Program has held an annual fundraiser, the Beats and Bites (formally know as Bristow Music Winter Fiesta New Mecca) dinner event, to support the musical talents of over 500 Bristow students (almost half the entire school). The Bristow Music Program is not only the largest middle school music program in California but has also maintained a level of excellence that is largely unmatched. The event is catered by New Mecca Restaurant located in Pittsburg, CA, and attendees are charmed by the award-winning Bristow Middle School Jazz Band and Choir. The event offers many opportunities to win through carnival balloon pop, silent auction, raffle baskets, and live auction. This event is the primary fundraiser, enabling the program to purchase music, supply instruments, participate in competitions, and charter buses.
