HISTORY OF THE BRISTOW MUSIC PROGRAM

The Bristow Music Program began in 1995 with Eve Albright as the band director and Mark Morello as the choir director. The school had 40 students in band and 35 in choir. Today, under the direction of Mark Morello, there are over 500 students enrolled in some aspect of the music program; nearly half of all the students at Bristow Middle School.

Although the program is growing and evolving, it’s mission has not changed;

To encourage and actively promote the highest levels of creativity, performance, and education in music at Bristow and in the Brentwood community.
